Interesting traffic situation in Kintaichi-onsen Station: the passenger train is diverted to a siding (1:16:54), to let a freight train overtake it (from 1:21:00), causing a six-minute delay. This would never happen in Europe. As a bonus, while the freight train is leaving, you can see the very top of an E5 Series bullet train whizz by on the Tohoku Shinkansen viaduct (from 1:21:32).
You have to remember on this part of the former Tōhoku Main Line from Morioka to Hachinohe, there is actually very little passenger traffic. As such, they could prioritize freight traffic over passenger traffic.

IGRいわて銀河鉄道開業20周年!
いま、、wikipediaでこの鉄道について見てみたら、最高時速100kmとありました。京浜急行の用で100km以上でているように思えますが。
因みに車両はJR東日本の701系と同じ車両ですからね(笑)‼️。
金田一温泉でなんで長く止まるんだろうと思ったら貨物列車通過なんてのがあるのか
複線だから対抗列車待ちなんて無いのにな~と思っていたから納得
